“On March 11-14, 2025, Kraków presented its investment potential at the International Investment Fair MIPIM in Cannes 2025. The MIPIM trade fair is the most important event related to the real estate market in the world, attracting key players from all sectors of this market.
As every year, Krakow presented its investment offer in Cannes at its own stand, in the prestigious exhibition part of the Palais de Festivals Riviera Hall, in the immediate vicinity of the stands of other Polish cities and regions. The Krakow stand was visited by representatives of dozens of companies and institutions, and the delegation from our city held almost 70 meetings.
Promotional activities conducted during the MIPIM trade fair focused on the presentation of large strategic projects and city investment offers. Among the strategic projects promoted were: Krakow Nowa Huta Przyszłości, Krakow Airport, the Music Center in Krakow and areas in the creative Wesoła district. In turn, the city properties offered for sale were intended for residential or service development.
Krakow was once again appreciated for its activities related to attracting investors. During MIPIM 2025, the city’s representative received several awards granted in the European Cities & Regions of the Future 2025 ranking, prepared for years by the prestigious publishing house – fDi Magazine. Kraków was awarded in the “Top 10 Large European Cities of the Future 2025” in the following categories:
position 1 – category: business friendliness,
position 1 – category: human capital and lifestyle,
position 6 – category: economic potential,
position 7 – FDI Strategy,
position 3 – overall.
We are already starting preparations for participation in the Fair in 2026!”
